Who knew? There’s actually a conference that’s dedicated to dew collection! Check it out:

Here’s their announcement:
“The 6th International Conference on Fog, Fog Collection and Dew will be held in Yokohama, Japan, 19-24 May, 2013.
The goal of this conference is to bring together people who are interested in any aspect of fog and dew. Both advanced scientific findings and fog collection projects will find a broad audience. Participants will include representatives from universities, the private sector, government and international agencies, as well as educational organizations.
This conference series was started in 1998 in Vancouver, Canada, then visited St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada (2001), Cape Town, South Africa (2004), La Serena, Chile (2007), and Münster, Germany (2010).”
Great to find a new interest in Fog/ Cloud Water Harvesting.
In South Africa we are proud to say that we have improved this innovation with new structure and designs let alone a net constructed by knitting a poly yarn with stainless steel.
For further info please contact as it is now sustainable and requires minimal maintenance.
